About the Mentoring Program

Do you need advice? Would you like to have someone with whom you may discuss your work and career?

We have experienced members in mining & exploration companies, government surveys, consultancies and universities who will be happy to discuss your work and career and give you advice.

Follow the links to view information about some of our members who have volunteered to be mentors for students and young professionals starting out on their career in economic geology. You are invited to contact any of them - their contact details are provided. Some speak and write different languages, so use whichever language is best for you. Remember, they have volunteered to help you.

If you would like to participate as a mentor to young geoscientists, you may do so by downloading and completing a template (SEG-Mentor-Template.docx), attaching a photograph and returning your information to James Macdonald at C2Skye@gmail.com.
