Students and Early Career Professionals

Welcome!

Our sincere thanks to all our SEG 2019 sponsors. Each sponsor provides vital support to the next generation of economic geologists and ensures that we can invite presenters who are the leaders in our field.

Student Support

SEG Student Members whose abstracts are accepted will be considered for financial assistance, which can be used for conference travel and accommodations. After being notified of eligibility, students must register no later than the early registration deadline to receive funds.

If an SEG Student Member receives travel support to attend the conference, they may also be eligible for shared accommodations support. Full details will be e-mailed to eligible students by June 5, 2019. Students who are not presenting an oral or poster presentation are not eligible for this support.

To be considered for financial assistance, you must already be an SEG Student Member. Before submitting an abstract, confirm that your membership is current or apply to become a member. You will be asked for your SEG Member ID when submitting an abstract.

Funds are distributed at the discretion of the SEG 2019 Organizing Committee.
