About the Showcase

This virtual showcase will give SEG Student Members who had previously submitted an abstract for the SEG 2020 Vision Conference in Whistler an opportunity to present their innovative research and can interact with the global community of economic geologists. This event will consist of both open access content and a live panel discussion.

SEG Student Member presenters will record and submit a 5-minute presentation in English (and optionally, in a second language) on a theme listed below. Videos and slide decks (PDF) will be uploaded to the SEG Student Showcase 2020 event page and made available to registrants beginning mid-day Monday, November 9, 2020 (MST). During this time, registrants can view and submit questions to presenters.

Zoom and Vimeo will be used; please check compatibility with your country.
