Online registration is now closed. As of this time, registrations will not be accepted over the phone or via email. New registrations will only be accepted on-site at the conference venue, Whistler Conference Centre, located at 4010 Whistler Way, Whistler, BC, Canada.
The registration desk is located on the upper level of the Conference Centre in the Grand Foyer. The on-site registration hours are as follows:
- Tuesday, September 24 14:00 – 19:00
- Wednesday, September 25 07:00 – 16:30
- Thursday, September 26 07:30 – 16:30
- Friday, September 27 07:30 – 17:30
We are pleased to invite participants from around the world to register for Whistler 2013: Geoscience for Discovery. (SEG 2013).
The registration fee is determined by when payment is received, not by the date of submission.
Author / Presenter Registration Requirements:
In order to have your paper published in the proceedings; at least one author per paper must register and pay by Wednesday, July 31, 2013.
The member rate is applicable to a member of Society of Economic Geologists (SEG). During the registration process, you will be asked to enter your SEG membership number.
Student Rate Requirements:
Proof of student status is required to confirm the Student rate. Proof consists of a copy of the student’s identification card or a letter from the institution’s registrar verifying student status. Please send documentation to Glenda Freeman at Sea to Sky Meeting Management via the contact information listed at the bottom of the page. If proof of student status is not received within two weeks, the student rate will not be valid.

Registration Fees Include:
- Attendance in all Sessions
- Welcome Reception on Tuesday evening
- Three Lunches
- Refreshment breaks
- Poster Happy Hour drinks on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon
(All payments are due in Canadian Funds)
The registration fee category is determined by when the payment is received. Onsite registration fees will be charged onsite for any unpaid pre-registrations.
A confirmation email will be sent shortly after you register. If you submit payment by credit card a receipt will be included. If you wish to pay by cheque or wire/bank transfer, an invoice will be sent to you. Once payment has been received a receipt will be sent.
The registration fee category is determined by when the payment is received. The deadline for pre-conference registration is Sunday, September 15, 2013. Registrations will also be accepted onsite.
Cancellations must be received in writing by Sea to Sky Meeting Management Inc. Substitutions are permitted until September 15, 2013. Conference Registration fees are non-refundable as of July 1, 2013.

If you require special assistance please indicate your requirements during the registration process.
Please identify your dietary requirements during the registration process so that we can make arrangements in advance.
Insurance and Liability
Participants take part in SEG 2013 at their own risk and need to make their own health and travel insurance arrangements.
The official language of the conference is English.
Complimentary registration is available to approved members of the media. If you are a member of the media and would like to attend the Conference, please send a copy of your media accreditation to firstname.lastname@example.org for approval.
