Hotel
Rooms have been reserved for attendees at the Geosciences International Conference Centre and can be booked after registering for the conference. In your registration receipt you will find an SEG Code good for discounted room rates. All rates are per room, per night, and do not include breakfast unless otherwise specified. We will indicate below when all allocated rooms have been booked.
Students: If an SEG Student Member receives travel support to attend the conference, they may also be eligible for shared accommodations support. Full details will be e-mailed to eligible students by May 31, 2017.
Before booking your room, please refer to the hotel's website for extended booking (adding days before/after the conference), changes or cancellations, early check-in requests, etc.

Shuttles
Local Taxis
Taxis are recommended and CUGB students will be at the airport to assist you in hailing a cab. Taxis do not accept credit cards and only accept cash so please be prepared when you arrive to Beijing. The ride should cost between 100 and 150 RMB and a student can help you at an ATM in the airport if needed.
There is no tipping in China.
