Student Funding
SEG is committed to supporting the academic and professional development of undergraduate and graduate students around the globe by promoting and encouraging engagement in a variety of events. Workshops, conferences, short courses, and field trips all facilitate learning, networking, and sharing experiences between students and other members within SEG.
Funding is available to individual students through research grants, fellowships, field trip programs and mapping courses.
The Society for Economic Geologists (SEG) is not permitted to award grants or scholarships to students or institutions located in U.S. Sanctioned countries. Students from U.S. Sanctioned countries are therefore ineligible to receive grants and scholarships from SEG. ofac.treasury.gov
