Inside USGS, No. 3, Robert Fournier, Yellowstone (Video by the US Geological Survey)

USGS emeritus geologist Robert Fournier describes his career working on Yellowstone geysers and hydrothermal systems from the 1960s through 2014. Bob's work along with his USGS colleagues revealed the details of Yellowstone's explosive volcanic past and how its spectacular geysers and other hydrothermal features work. This work is relevant to the understanding of hydrothermal systems related to the formation of porphyry and epithermal deposits (Fournier, 1999, Economic Geology).
