This webinar will focus on the practical implications of planning logistical aspects of exploration and drilling programs in the mining industry. Every geologist will, to some degree, be required to organize and ensure a smoothly running work program. During exceptional circumstances such as those faced during the current COVID-19 pandemic, an individual is challenged by the magnitude of the task(s). The webinar will introduce aspects of (1) adapting to the geographical, political and economic factors in the context of exploration logistics, (2) establishing a project base and camp, (3) dealing with time/ project management and HR, and with the impact of COVID-19 restrictions and considerations.

The webinar is targeted for students and early career professionals but can serve as a useful overview for all professionals in the field.
