Description
When we opened our Society of Economic Geologists headquarters in Littleton in June 2000, the building became a permanent home for economic geologists near and far. We remain grateful to Stewart Wallace who made the construction of our headquarters possible.
While the walls are impressive, the activity in the interior of the building tells an even greater story of the rise of SEG from a modest volunteer-led organization to the premier Society it is today. Our focus, now as ever, is to leverage our headquarters for strong connections between our dedicated members, volunteers, donors, and staff—for the advancement of science and discovery.
To that end, we invite members of our geologic community to visit us for a showcase of our facilities, an introduction to our dedicated staff, and a rich evening of knowledge exchange, networking, and celebration of our Society.
This is a complimentary event and we are pleased to provide light hors d'oeuvres.
Your RSVP is requested by April 1, 2024.
